Masjid Construction

Whosoever builds a house (masjid) for the pleasure of Allah, whether it be small or large, Allah builds for him a house in Paradise. [Tirmidhi]
Mosques are the heart of Islamic life. They serve for prayers, for events during Islam’s holiest month Ramadan, as centers for education and information, as places for social welfare, and also for dispute settlement.
The idea of the mosque is to assist Muslims in their mission of purifying the world. In essence, the mosque is related to all aspects of the life of devout Muslims and is the vehicle by which Muslims engage in the affairs of the world, both as individuals and as communities.
Building a masjid is an excellent form of Sadaqah Jariyah as long as people worship there.
