Merits of Youthfulness

Prophet Mohammed PBUH said, young people who grew up obeying and following Allah’s orders would be among seven categories of people who would be provided shade on judgement day. Al-Bukhari: 1423

“Take advantage of five (matters) before five (other matters): your youth, before you become old; your health, before you fall sick; your richness, before you become poor; your free time, before you become busy; and your life, before your death.” Mustadrak’ of al-Hakim 7927
In Islam youth has a high status as they are the future leaders of this Ummah, the development of civilisations and the future of nations is in their hands. They are the flag bearers of Islam who carry the message of Islam to the next generation and various parts of the earth. This is a role for which they ought to be prepared, by their families, educational institutions, and the society at large.
Their unwavering efforts and dedications for the cause of Islam is never needed as badly as it is today and the great roles they need to play towards revival of Ummah and to regain its glory by tilling their time, talent and money effectively.
They are superior in their capabilities and energy. Thus, they are supposed to keep themselves busy with hard work.
They safeguard its lands and build its glory thanks to their open mind, fine thinking, pure hearts, strong arms and will and true faith.
Ummah needs brave, knowledgeable, sincere, and loyal Muslim youths.
The Prophet (pbuh) said: «Your Lord is delighted (in the way that suits Him) about a young person who does not have youthful (lustful) desire.” At-Tabarani

Alkahf 13: “Indeed, they were youths who believed in their Lord, and we increased them in guidance.”
